Hello and bienvenue! Originally from the Pacific Northwest of the US, I’m happily living my best chateau-DIY life in rural Burgundy, France. Maison de Chastenay is an 18th-century mansion still undergoing restoration, but I’ve found that others are as passionate about seeing it transform as I am.
The bed and breakfast takes its name from Victorine de Chastenay, a brilliant woman of the Enlightenment and former owner. Renovation work aims to modernize, but also restore the look and feel of her time here during the first half of the 19th century.
Come discover Maison de Chastenay, and stay awhile to enjoy the culturally rich region.
